Is there an iPad specific version in the works, or does the regular iPhone version look OK?  I'm concerned that the graphics will not scale up well when moving from an iPhone to an iPad.  Since I'm basically considering buying an iPad solely to play chess with :-) , I'd really like to know before I buy.

I agree, an iPad version would be great. Its tough to look at the current iPhone app on the iPad for too long; it hurts your eyes. I would definitely pay $5 for a real iPad version though. iPad seems like the perfect platform for touch based chess games….
